I picked the ALEKS tool as I have never heard of this website or tool in general. I wanted to get more educated on this tool as it may become useful to me in the future.  ALEKS is an  artificially intelligent learning and assessment system  that has been used by over 25 million students for Math, Chemistry, Statistics and Accounting. I picked the Schoology tool as I have never heard of this website or tool in general. I wanted to get more educated on this tool as it may become useful to me in the future.  Schoology allows  access to course materials anytime, anywhere, for teachers, students, and parents . Access to Schoology means students and teachers have access to course material anytime and anywhere they have an internet connection, including on snow days, after school, and sick days. I picked the Gimkit tool as I have never heard of this website or tool in general. I wanted to get more educated on this tool as it may become useful to me in the future.  Gimkit can be used in any classroom to introduce or review concepts; it's like a mashup of  Kahoot!  and Q uizlet , but with some unique features neither have. The live gameplay is fast-paced and engaging, but when it's assigned for independent practice, Gimkit functions more like flash cards. Getting started is easy; search for kits created by other users and copy/modify them for your own use. I chose this website because I have briefly heard of this before in classrooms but have never actually visited it. I picked this blackboard technology because I had never heard of it before and wanted to learn more about it as it may be useful to me in the future. Blackboard is a virtual learning environment website that is similar to a calendar such as canvas where this is used for higher ed. This is a system that is used to teach and learn.
